Linkee.bio helps you create and manage a public profile page. This notice explains the information used when you sign in and use Linkee.bio.

Information we receive

  • When you choose Google sign-in, Google and Supabase Auth provide your account identifier, email address, and basic profile information, including your name. We use these details to identify your account. Google sign-in does not give Linkee.bio access to Gmail or Google Drive, and we never receive your Google password. Google accounts are separate from ChatGPT and Instagram accounts unless an account-linking feature is explicitly offered.
  • Supabase verifies Google sign-in before Linkee.bio creates its own session. Linkee.bio uses provider tokens only during this request and does not retain them in its application database or browser storage. Supabase maintains the authentication account used to recognize returning Google users.
  • When you choose Instagram sign-in, Instagram provides your Instagram account identifier and username, and may provide a display name. We use these details to identify your Linkee.bio account and show your account name in the dashboard. We do not receive or store your Instagram password.
  • Linkee.bio exchanges Instagram’s authorization code for a short-lived access token to retrieve the permitted account details. The token is used for that sign-in request and is not stored by Linkee.bio.

Information we store

  • Your Supabase authentication account identifier, email address, and display name when you sign in with Google.
  • Your Instagram account identifier and username, to recognize your Linkee.bio account.
  • A random Linkee.bio session token in a secure, HTTP-only browser cookie; Linkee.bio stores only its hash. Sessions expire after 30 days and can be ended by signing out.
  • Profile information and content you choose to add, such as your name, bio, links, social links, design settings, and profile photo. Published profile content is visible to people who visit its public page.
  • The Creator, Realtor, or Local Business type you select during setup, used to show the matching editor and tools. Choosing a type does not grant administrator privileges. Profiles created before this choice was introduced are categorized as Creators.
  • If you submit a Buyer or Seller form, we store the contact details and property preferences you enter so the designated realtor can respond. These answers and the realtor’s notes are private, not public profile content. Application admin access does not include another realtor’s leads. Temporary anti-spam records contain a daily hashed fingerprint, not your raw IP address.
  • If you send private feedback to a local business, we store your message and its submission time in a private inbox accessible to the business’s authorized editors and Linkee admins. We do not ask for a name or email, and the message is not posted publicly. Do not include sensitive personal information. Temporary anti-spam records use a daily hashed fingerprint rather than a raw IP address. Hosting providers may process request information to protect the service.

How we use information

  • We use this information to sign you in, keep your session secure, provide the profile editor, and display the profile page you choose to publish. We do not use Instagram sign-in to read or manage your messages, publish content to Instagram, or access Instagram insights.

Service providers and sharing

  • We record basic public-page views and link clicks so profile owners, people with profile access, and the administrator can see activity totals. Analytics records contain the profile, date, event type, and link label with a hashed destination; they do not contain visitor identifiers, email addresses, stored IP addresses, or full destination URLs. We do not set analytics cookies. Hosting providers may process request information to operate and protect the service.
  • Google processes Google authorization requests. Supabase provides Google authentication and stores authentication account details; it also provides Linkee.bio’s database and file storage. Published profile content is public, but sign-in does not grant other users access to your private account or editing controls.
  • Instagram/Meta processes the authorization request and returns the account details you authorize. Linkee.bio uses its hosting and database providers to run the service and store account and profile data. We do not sell your Instagram account information. We disclose information only as needed to operate and protect the service, comply with law, or respond to a valid legal request.

Retention and your choices

  • You can sign out to end your current session. To request deletion of your Linkee.bio account information and profile content, follow the instructions on our data deletion page. Public profile pages remain visible until unpublished or removed.
  • To request deletion of a real estate form submission, contact the realtor or email us with the profile link and the email you used. Realtors can delete individual leads. Disabling a form stops new submissions but does not delete existing leads.
  • Local business feedback remains until deleted by an administrator or the profile is deleted. Turning private feedback off stops new submissions without deleting existing messages. You may request deletion by emailing us with the business profile link, approximate submission time, and enough message details to locate it. Anonymous messages cannot be matched to an account. Public reviews and emails sent through external platforms are handled by those services.
